Just picked the last of the figs...a blessing in disguise, actually. Disguise you may ask? These figs are green because they had no chance of maturing into their sugar-rich goodness. So during the past 60 days in this crazy weather, they sat on the tree. Just sat, getting bigger and fatter, and greener, and fragrant.
